In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth, also I started this blog* (though a few thousand - or million - years later). I must begin this blog with a confession (a selfish one at that). This blog is not for you, or for anyone who reads. It is for myself. I understand if you want to go back to Facebook or MySpace (if that site is still working) right now. I find that my thoughts tend to hover around my consciousness like feral flies. I thought perhaps a place to send these flies (a blog) would help me remain (at least in my own mind) sane. Accordingly, Problem: Thoughts like flies, Solution: Start a blog. Now about what will be the content of this here blog. I'm afraid I do not have a definitive answer to this. The 'flies' that tend to hover inside my head range from theological musings on the validity of classic Pre-millennialism to my loathing of the music infestation of such bands as Nickelback and Short Stack. I enjoy interaction with other people than myself (and my imaginary friend: Gertrude), so feel free to mock, muse and ponder away with me. To infinity and beyond!
*Please understand I am not comparing the commencement of this blog as equal or anywhere near equal to the creation or beginning of the world, it is mere wordplay.

To blog or not to blog. The fight has been waged within me, I tried to stave off the ever-so-powerful narcissistic self expression, but alas, I lost. Hence, on this site, those few that find themselves unable to sleep late on a Sunday night, are bored at work or simply want to peek into the depravities of a twentysomething Christ follower may find something of interest.
